*”With a flower in my embrace, wine in my hand, and my beloved content, I am the sovereign of the world; such a day makes me a slave.
O candle, bring your light to this gathering tonight,
For in our assembly, the moon-faced beloved shines in full glory.
In our creed, wine is permissible, but without your face,
O tall cypress with a body like a rose, it is forbidden.
My ears are attuned to the melody of the reed flute and the harp, While my eyes are fixed on the ruby lips and the swirling cup.”*

The art beautifully conveys themes of love, celebration, and the allure of the beloved.
